Common questions

What is an SPF record?
SPF (Sender Policy Framework) is a DNS TXT record that lists which mail servers are allowed to send email on behalf of a domain. Receiving servers check it to help decide whether an incoming message is legitimate or spoofed.
Why does my SPF policy (~all vs -all) matter?
-all tells receivers to reject mail from unauthorized servers outright. ~all ("softfail") asks them to flag it as suspicious but often still deliver it — many spoofed emails using softfail domains still land in the inbox.
I have SPF but still land in spam — why?
SPF is one of several signals (alongside DKIM and DMARC). A domain can pass SPF and still have poor deliverability due to DMARC misalignment, sending reputation, content, or engagement issues. Run the full audit below for the complete picture.
Can I have more than one SPF record?
No — a domain should have exactly one SPF TXT record. Multiple SPF records are invalid per RFC 7208 and most mail servers will treat the lookup as a permanent SPF failure.
